why does it take me longer to find the image than it does to actually write the poem?

Ironic indeed when nature aids man's crimes. Blood red calendulas, the perfect camouflage.

Something I wrote for the daily challenge. Although it's not so much a "discovery" it's more like a re-discovery :)
This poem is about a dead person who has been buried under the ground and she is not ready to accept the reality. She just wants to get out.
A plea from those who had to please to appease for the sake of their hobbies
Now we are all followed by swift terrible nightmares.
