this is the sad reality that we lgbt+ people have to deal with. while people definitely have been more progressive these days, there are still too many people who are discriminatory to minorities. I remember having to do a report for school and i chose the topic of homophobia and i included Wilfred de Bruijn, who was beaten for walking arm in arm with his boyfriend, and Scott Johnson who was found naked at the bottom of a cliff around an area where anti-gay hate crime had previously been reported. i will continue to stand up for what i believe and i will share the stories of those who should be remembered, including these people. please spread love. the world is already messed up as it is. dont contribute to that.
