Haha, I guess you can say I've always liked words. Even when I was learning to read- I would spend hours on end, alone in my room at the age of four, trying to get the hang of it. I've always had an A+ in writing and those arts. I lost both parents when I was eight and nine, trauma found its way in. As well as violence. Still, that flows in my writing. My goal is to give people like me an escape during the hard times, to let them know they're not alone. I want you to feel what I write, not just read it. Thank you. 🖤
It started out with the National Geographic books- as nerdy as that sounds, haha... then, as I got older (the age of ten, to be exact), I was already into darker stories. LockWood and Co. was one of my favorites, then. I'm not sure who it's by. Yeah, I'm only 15... surprised? Haha, everyone says I sound older. I guess trauma can do that to a kid. Now my favorite authors are Stephen King, Stephanie Meyers, James Patterson, Harland Coben and Nick Petrie. This year, my favorite book was Narcos by Jeff Marriote, a great read.
Personally, horror and twisted poetry is my style. I like to scare, satisfy and pull my readers in with pain, suspense, horror and aching wounds. In my realm, you learn to act on instinct. Never think ahead, never trust anyone. Shadows move, children disappear, eyes are felt on you from around the room, daggers fly and monsters lurk in the night. So hold on! You're in for a ride.
