After 5 months of not coming on here, I'M BACK! I decided to put up a love poem I wrote for NAPOWRIMO. It was written in a rush and I wasn't nearly as good then, so sorry if this seems a bit sloppy!
Most of my poems have had a depressing undertone to them, so I tried to write something more positive. This is a bit of a venture for me, but I hope you like it!
I wrote this piece in a slightly bitter state as the disappointment of teenage love finally came to me as expected. I find love riddled with irony, which prompted this metaphor of an iron ore mine.
