maybe we're the ones who just didn't get it.

the truth is, we all have felt like this. we've all had to shut down.

I was only 8 years old the day it happened.

Where's the balance? What's the key?

What's out there? What glows?

What is to melt, but to expand far beyond reach

And so I've fallen into a deep slumber with my eyes wide open, waiting for the strength to feel again.
