We are excited to partner with The HyperTexts on this poetry contest. This is how Michael R. Burch, the founder and editor-in-chief of The HyperTexts, describes his publication: "The HyperTexts is an on-line poetry journal with a simple goal: to showcase the best poetry, literary prose and art available to us. We are not a 'formal' journal or a 'free verse' journal; we simply publish the best work we can find. We are lovers of good poetry and don't discriminate against any type or form." Over the last three decades The HyperTexts has published many "unknown" and "under-known" poets, and has always welcomed new voices.
August 1st 2019, 12:00 am ~ September 20th 2019, 12:00 am (your time zone)
All forms of poetry are welcome, from haiku to formal poetry to experimental free verse.
The editor hopes to publish a number of poems from this contest, so there is a real opportunity for publication here. While there is no set number of winners, the editor will be reading through entries to choose poems that would fit The HyperTexts. The most upvoted poems will also be mentioned on Commaful's social media pages.
If you tag an eligible story withhypertexts, that story will automatically be entered. Using the below button to create will automatically enter your creation into the contest.
