A short poem. About-- within romantic relationship, friendship, family.. just anything.

Presence

Poetry by Z.H.Tauhid

Your;

Unfilled coffee Undone papers Unfolded clothes Unwashed dishes

Was almost

Everywhere and anywhere At every glance of my sight In this house we live together.

I know— You know—

I don’t really mind But I do blabbering About it; Sometimes.

I know— You know—

When actually— I love it Just because it’s there; Your mess, The proof of your presence, And so I don’t really mind.

I know— You know—

Until it suddenly gone; The mess, The proof, The presence, You. - Z.H.Tauhid

This was lyrical and romantic. Even the endinmg was romantic as described by the writer. Your comparison of "mess" to presence is ingenious. I loved this poem. Great job.
