Is Logan Paul Actually Sorry Or Is This A PR Move?

So it's happened. Logan came back on YouTube. Logang fans go crazy ;)

If you missed it, a few days ago, Logan released a video promoting suicide awareness. He also promised to donate $1 million to suicide prevention organizations.

While everybody agrees that this is a positive move and a great use of his power and influence, many question his actual motives.

Actor Jimmy Wong went to Twitter, reaching out to Logan, mentioning that the issue wasn't just about the suicide video but other actions, like making fun of Japanese culture:

"The MAIN issue, obviously, was not just this single case of your gross usage of a suicide victim, but rather that you have a behavioral and mental problem to do this sort of thing non stop.

It's been continually happening for your entire career and we finally slowly realized it."

"So when I get alerted that you've posted a new video after taking a long break to 'reflect', I'm hoping you address the fact that you, in your infinite privilege and power,

have little understanding of the consequences of your actions, treat others like props, and need to change."

Logan went on block Jimmy for his tweet.

Here's my thought: Whether or not this is a PR move, it's a great move for the YouTube community and for his fans. Suicide is no joke and Logan's video will help educate millions.

He deserves praise for that.

I do not think Logan owes an apology for his other terrible actions. His videos have always been of this nature.

I do not applaud these actions as they are borderline bullying, but it's something he's always done and has helped him become famous.

An apology or change would have been nice, but I did not expect him to do it.

The suicide video in itself, PR move or not, was a nice move and I accept that.
