Poem #9 for NaPoWriMo.
Hope you enjoy. :)

The Weeping Petals

The petals weep for me In a woeful harmony.

Because I, like them have been uprooted, Cut from the cord of their mother.

She calls me close to tell me she wishes to be there on the day that I marry To tell me she wishes to be there on the day I father a child of my own.

She held tight, but the plans have rapidly dilapidated. As I was cut from the cord of my mother.

The petals weep for me In a sorrowful synchronicity.

Because I, like them have been uprooted, Cut from the cord of their mother.

The time measured through beeps on a monitor. I count down the hours passed. If you won't save her Please just take her away.

The End
