A girl of green.

Green

She’s all herbal tea and nature.

Bet you if you’d let her

Bet you if you’d let her She’d lay in the grass

Bet you if you’d let her She’d lay in the grass Staring up at the sky all day long.

The grass would fold underneath her body

The grass would fold underneath her body Tickling her skin

The grass would fold underneath her body Tickling her skin A luscious bed of nails.

She also seems a tad bit overgrown

She also seems a tad bit overgrown Like those untamed weeds

She also seems a tad bit overgrown Like those untamed weeds Somewhere in her backyard.

Mostly because she adores yellow dandelions

Mostly because she adores yellow dandelions No such thing as a parasite

Mostly because she adores yellow dandelions No such thing as a parasite In her parasitic mind.

Sometimes she’ll watch the trees

Sometimes she’ll watch the trees The leaves move in shapes

Sometimes she’ll watch the trees The leaves move in shapes Branching off into her strange imagination.

She’s all green and caricature.
