Just like what used to be.
(Wow. This was... idk)

Decaying memories

Rusting metal

cracks in the steel

tires turning slowly.

The vanishing golden sheets

covering the fading bronze bell

can hardly peek a sound.

Old patterns carved

forgetting their meaning

pedals too far to reach.

The brown leather seat

tearing around the stitches

too precious to be replaced.

The chains falling off course

the tires can't move

keeping the body in place.

All lost its shine

decaying in the public sight

it's old sparkle chipping.

No more of it is of use

memories are forgotten

just like what used to be.

A rusting child's bike.
