Still we shine our shallow rays out to the dark, pale though they are.
Still we cast our humble warmth amidst the many dazzling stars.
Still we let loose tiny sparks, just enough to start a fire
though we know they'll be forgotten as the temperatures rise higher.
Still we shine on, still unfazed constant flames, dispelling doubt,
while all the harsh and shining bulbs, exerted, stop and all burn out.
