There once was a girl who always says "It's okay."
She had a heart of glass and the most beautiful eyes but under them were faint splashes of gray.
She laughed with her friends till she can't do it anymore,
Then when she knew she was alone, she proceeds to scream till her throat was sore.
When a stranger stepped on her foot on the way home from school, she said, "No it's okay. I needed a new one anyway, It's cool."
When her parents favored and cared for her sister more she played it cool and told herself, "Nope, It's okay. They just never got over the fact that when she was young, her metabolism was poor."
When she felt pressured to do good in school that she ended up crying, she said, "It's okay. I'll just do my homework and do some more reading."
And when her favourite things to do weren't able to cheer her up anymore, she said, "It's okay. I'll just keep on doing them till I don't feel awful."
One day, a boy with cold metal hands told her he loved her. He touched her glass heart and a crack appeared on it's exterior.
She said, "It's okay, I love you. You can have it, I have trust in you."
The boy's metal hands were so cold that when he touched her warm glass heart, it broke to a million pieces.
The boy with metal hands said "Sorry" and left her with no hope.
Unable to explain why, she said "It's okay." then proceeded to step off the chair to tighten the rope.
