Death Surrounds Me

The sour smell of death surrounds me

Yellowed, hallowed skin, eyes that do not shut

Blinkless, shrouded with emotionless features,

Creatures--haunt me; thoughts of wanting to live,

But I cannot,

Death follows me, whenever I close my eyes

Restless sleep; don't I need to weep for you?

Guilt consumes me everytime I smile or laugh; food does not satisfy me,

Internal screams I need to let loose,

Death surrounds me.
