A brainstorm I had while eating out. I hope you enjoy.

Trouble

The cold sweat

The crushing weight

To be so small

So slim, so cool

I hide away in tinted mirrors

The fractures my reality

I take my reflection and shape it

Perfection

For love hides behind fragile flowers

Frosted panes hide silent tears

With little between life and death

I stand atop the broken edge

I have half myself

In one dimension

Twist and I could see one side

Stretched beneath me

I like to think I can't break

That my skin is titanium

But even that has a boiling point

A crack in the surface

My heart will slow

The pain will go

I will no longer have to yearn

For love and acceptance
