For years, I had never liked baking.

For years, I had never liked baking. Sure, I loved all the tasty treats it could produce, but something about making them always put me.... on edge.

As time went on, it became evident that it wasn't because I despised baking,

I was at my friend's house one day, when she remembered she was supposed to bake cookies for her daughter's picnic.

Rushing to get them done, she pushed the spatula into my hands.
