A love story between the natural and the divine.

Said Father God To Mother Earth

Said Father God To Mother Earth By Breanna Lowman

The Breath of Life Sang from the mouth Of God As Mother Earth Was birthed

Alive, she breathed Her mountains rolled Her oceans waved Embraced by beauty And by love

Said Father God To Mother Earth You are good Oh, you are good And she felt it to her core

Among music notes of light She danced with the moon Celebrated among the stars Basked in the warmth Of the rays of sunshine

Her heart racing, expanding Abundance growing Deep from within Pregnant with life Birth came once again

Trees emerged from her skin Plants, grasses and flowers of all kinds Fish formed in the water of her seas Birds broke through the clouds of her mind Millions of creatures nursed and nurtured

Said Father God to Mother Earth You are good, oh you are good Said Mother Earth to Father God And you are good, oh you are good

And everything was good And everything was right But still there was more Waiting to rise and come alive For whom is God if not father? And who is Earth if not mother?

Said Father God to Mother Earth It's time for our children to come Said Mother Earth to Father God I've been waiting What seems like forever For this moment to come

Father God smiled And Mother Earth shook Natural and divine Fused into one To create, to inspire

The body of Mother Earth Offered up as dirt Taken into the hands of the Father Molded in his image Formed in their love The Breath of Life blew And the Son gave his blood Human was born

Mother Earth rained down tears of joy Father God sat beneath her shade Holding the newborn babe Both captivated by the beauty Of the most valuable thing They both had ever made

Said Father God to Mother Earth This is very good, oh very good Said Mother Earth to Father God Yes, very good, oh very good

They dreamed of their children Beautiful and free Enjoying Mother Earth and Adding to her beauty Connecting with Father God and Experiencing the mystery

Mother Earth thanked Father God And Father God thanked Mother Earth The Son and the Spirit danced with joy For they had all been part of the birth

And this changed everything

For from that day on Their hearts Forever intertwined With the children of their making And they would feel and know Ecstatic joy along with Incredible sorrow

For though their children Were made good and beautiful They would often forget this Causing instead destruction Inflicting pain and evil upon Brother and sister

But Father and Mother Would never lose hope For whom is Father God If not ever loving? And who is Mother Earth If not ever giving?

They would live and die Giving everything to their children
