The mysterious forest-tucked away in a quiet corner of the park,
It made me question- what journey did it embark?
It made me wonder- what secrets did these trees hold?
From the youngest of them to the old.
I bet these trees had a lot of stories to tell,
More than you or I ever will.
The smell of pine was in the air,
This smell so fresh and genuine-for which mankind no longer cares.
I could feel the leaves and branches crunch beneath my feet,
While hiking to the “Grizzly” in the scorching July heat.
These trees are God’s best architectural designs,
This magical forest is so pure and divine.
We walked on the same path as those who long came before us,
A path that is so serene, without all the chaos.
The purity and beauty of this work of art can only be created with God’s paintbrush,
So many thoughts in my mind, yet much like the silence of these trees, I remained hush.
