Little Girl

Little girl, why are you crying in there?

Doesn't your mama hear you sob?

You're hugging your legs in the corner like a depressed teenage girl who doesn't know the reason why she's sad about the things her mind made up.

Little girl, why are you crying in there?

Don't you have friends you can hang out with?

You're hugging your legs in the corner like a loner in your fucking school.

You have a lot of friends right? A whole bunch of lot that you waste your time trying so hard to have in common.

Little girl, why are you crying in there?

Is it about the boy you said you like?

You're hugging your legs in the corner like you've just found out he already like someone else.

Why can't you just like someone who liked you back, instead of liking someone who doesn't!

Little girl, why are you crying in there?

Did someone die?

You're hugging your legs in the corner like you've just realized the fact that you're dead ever since your father and mother doesn't talk anymore--then you can't talk about your friends

what your problem is-- and the boy who causes butterflies in your stomach also fills butterflies in other girls stomach.

Little girl, are you okay?

You're hugging your legs in the corner like you're hiding the bruises you've made yourself so you can feel something other than the pain you have inside your heart.

Little girl, don't you give up.

Because someday, someone will hug you when you're sitting in the corner hugging your legs and felt like giving up.

Wait for that little girl, by that time--you wouldn't be so little anymore.
