our love is old and stands as strong as the ancient Greek temples.

ancient

no great architect nor dutiful painter could ever succeed in recreating us,

we were built from the gods,

Zeus looks down and smiles at his resemblance in human kind,

your eyes like lightning stilling me as I await for the rumble of your voice of thunder,

Nike shouts in triumph,

because you and I bring nothing but victory and joy to the lands we step foot on,

Athena stills amongst the battlefield,

surveying her surroundings and calculating every outcome,

never losing sight of winning this fight.

just as my eyes meet yours and the battle stills,

I look and see all outcomes,

but the one I keep in sight is the one where you're always by my side.

Apollo rises everyday and holds the sun to its schedule,

as it sets he lays down the pen with which his poetry flows

and in his words he writes of woes made of a fascination of adoration,

his reason lies beneath him on this earth standing hand in hand,

no great architect nor dutiful painter could ever succeed in recreating us,

for we were made from the gods.
