Dark times

One stormy night

One stormy night I clung to Mother Aphrodite

My wings were out of shape in this-

World of extreme inustice

My mother's love... Was all I need

To suffer this year's Pain and greed

But never in a millenia had I thought-

To let go of what I got

My quiver was broken Like my heart once soft

Was heavy and tight Like someone carried it aloft

But with my short winged body,I-

Know a heart that twirls and flies

I know you possess it but it lurks inside

Despite the times that you cursed and cried.

As I let go of Aphrodite,she-

Could not control my indignity

I beg you,let go of evil now

And open your fair heart to love.
