A poem about the tragedy of death

From the grave

I love you I truly do But you have to stay there It's best for you I'm sorry I truly am But I've to leave you In that old dam

When death comes I can't control It snatches away Our poor souls I want to help But no one should It's etched clear On Death's hood

If I could bring you back I could But like a confused nobody I stood

Don't get mad I truly swear But for your safety You need to stay there But I will join you In years to come I'm sorry I left you In that dump

We'll be together again And resume our life in peace But you must know you're the Jason to my Medea And Death is the Golden Fleece

We will meet again in the afterlife
