You are the Phoenix

Every time I talk to you, I'm drowned in such guilt. Of not rescuing you, Of being busy, Of not helping you see the light of the day. I see you drowning deeper and deeper. I see myself impotent. For you have closed all the doors. I beg you to let me in, And you fasten it further. I'm tormented,

In anguish I weep. In pain I see you falling deeper and deeper. Let me in Please

Before it's too late. Before you are pushed further off the track. Before your flower turns to a stone.

Fear not. This is not the end my dear. We will rise like a Phoenix, From those very ashes. And we'll never be the same. But, wiser and Invincible. Like He did with me, I will lift you up in my hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

With these broken shards and peeled chips We will make a new you. A You, that will soar like an eagle. And that will be the beginning of our new self created life. I, you and Him.
