Sorry that this is so short, I’ll make a book three by at least May 3 2020!!!
Remus started glancing awkwardly at the ceiling. "Then..." he trailed off, then whispered the rest. "Nothing.
I haven't gotten around to telling them anything, you know?" Lily sighed and shook her head, her long red hair swooshing behind her. "You should.
You don't have to, obviously, but wouldn't it be better to?" she asked, concerned. Remus shook his head. "I've told one person besides Jake.
They said that they'd never be able to look at me the same way again." he whispered nervously. "If your friends are jerks about it, I can kick their butts.
" Lily said, putting an emphasis on the last three words. Remus let out a soft chuckle. "Yeah, 'cause that would go well, you just barging into our dorm and going full-on Karate Kid."
Lily chuckled at this, and she understood this reference, having muggle parents. "But I low-key would." She said, a bit too seriously. Remus lightly coughed sorta awkwardly.
"But I don't like him though." He said slowly. Lily's grin grew even wider. "Yes you dooo!" she said in a singsong voice.
"Or else you wouldn't' 've brought it up again!" she said, still singsongy. Remus shook his head. Lily looked at him pointedly.
"You must be in Egypt, you're on De Nial!" she said, again singsongy, which was rare for Lily Evans, unless she was in Cupid mode, which she was.
They wrapped up their extremely awkward convo, and Lily went back to the great hall to say hey to her friends, and Remus remained on the bench thinking.
After a while, he muttered to himself, "I don't like him. He's.. straight." this pained his to think about, even more say, but he needed to face (what he thought) was the truth.
He then headed back to Gryffindor dorms, to find Sirius presumably awaiting his arrival on the couch, glaring at him. James was on a nearby chair, glaring still, but less so.
Peter was probably off in the kitchen eating. "So.." began James nervously, but Sirius took over.
"You're dating my cousin?" He yelled, not much of a question, but more of a demand for an answer, and Remus was even mildly amused at the thought.
He laughed, and said sarcastically, "Oh, yes, we're getting married next week, we'll even be related!" , and Remus said this sarcastically, Sirius took it the wrong way.
"Whaaat?", yelled Sirius, stretching out the 'a'. James flicked Sirius on the shoulder, and rolled his eyes. "He was being sarcastic, Pads." Sirius turned his glare to James.
"Out of all the things you could call me, you choose a FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCT?
", Sirius yelled, and everyone roared with laughter, even random idiots hanging in the common room too, until Molly Prewett came down the stairs, with a scowl on her face, and everyone shut up.
That was one of the things about Molly Prewett. She's sweet and kind, and everything like that, but she could be seriously terrifying if she wanted to.
Once there was complete silence, she went back to the girls' dormitories. Sirius was still holding his glare at James, and he had not blinked once, which was quite impressive.
James said, "Sorry.", but that didn't work for Sirius, as he still held the glare. "Jeez, sorry, mate.", said James, but again, that didn't work for Sirius.
"Fine, whaddya want me to do?", groaned James, obviously not looking forward to it. Sirius smirked. "Beg for forgiveness. On your knees. Siriusly.
" He said, still glaring, (and smirking) at James. James groaned, but did just so, he didn't want to fight, but he didn't know if this was actually better.
Remus couldn't hold it in anymore. He let out a humongous howl of laughter, but stopped once everyone was staring at him, and he blushed, he didn't like much attention.
