she was laughing and clocks were ticking,
if you smiled, you'd be screaming.
caught under a spell, a gaze
so intense you lost your way.
so you left, holding on to tangled rope
then gasping for air, just as you choked.
cackling as she saw,
there you hung, on her bedroom wall
gagging, blood split, in more ways than one.
and when you thought, your life was done
she set you aflame, and there you scorched.
burning to ashes, on her front porch.
