Dedicated to George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Eric Garner and the countless people who are being denied their civil rights and face such injustice, I just wish I could have written something better.

George Floyd

The city is ablaze, as the coppers came down in a fearful haze, leaving the people chanting "I can't breathe" as racism chokes their lungs, stifling their growth,

they rage in anger as they are attacked by those who took an oath to protect and serve.

The city is ablaze and they chant "I can't breathe" as they watch the city burn they angrily protest for the rights they deserve.

The black smoke smoulders in the air as the white morning light shows the devastation and despair. "Coppers I can't run, I can't breathe, I can't enjoy the same sun".
