“Hoseok show us what you got.” Hoseok picked himself off the floor and walked towards the center of the studio.
He stood there, hesitated for a moment, then signalled his instructor to start the music. Boy Meets Evil echoed through the room and Hoseok’s body began to move.
He truly was ethereal, the way he could move his body as if it was no big deal. He body rolled, grinded, and even did robotic movement.
In his head, Hoseok counted his steps, “One, two, three. One, two, three.” The song ended and so did Hoseok’s dance. Everyone who saw his dance was awestruck.
Then the sound of clapping filled the room. Hoseok let out a sigh a relief, “They actually liked it,” he thought as a smile enveloped his face.
All the other dance students gathered around him and told him how amazing his routine was.
The students dispersed as the instructor made his way to Hoseok. “Excellent work Hoseok! You never fail to impress me,” said Instructor Chanwoo.
“Thank you Instructor Chanwoo,” Hoseok said as he bowed. Hoseok made his way to the back of the studio with the other students. “Okay, up next is Sunhwa,” announced Instructor Chanwoo.
From outside the dance studio was someone peering in through the glass window. “Wow,” was all the onlooker had to say. He watched Hoseok’s performance and was awestruck.
“How can someone be that amazing?” thought the stranger. The onlooker could not get Hoseok out of his mind.
The way he moved, his facial expressions, and even the way he smiled as his peers clapped for him, he was truly beautiful.
Suddenly Hoseok looked right at the stranger. The stranger froze and Hoseok’s gaze did not drop. “What’s he staring at?” thought Hoseok.
Hoseok looked around to see if there was something interesting in the studio. “Nothing, absolutely nothing interesting is here,” Hoseok thought.
He looked back at the stranger but all that was there was a tree, the mysterious male had disappeared.
Faster and faster, farther and farther the mysterious man kept running without looking back. He entered a convenience store and gasped for air. “What are you doing Jimin!” he asked himself.
The cashier looked at Jimin as if he was crazy. “Sorry,” Jimin mumbled and quickly walked out of the store. “He almost saw me,” thought Jimin. Just the thought of Hoseok made his heart race.
“I have to go back to see him dance again!” he thought.
Jimin began to run back to the studio. However the only person in there was Instructor Chanwoo. Jimin slowly opened the glass door and walked in.
“Sorry class has ended,” announced Instructor Chanwoo. “Oh I know, I just wanted to ask you a question Instructor Chanwoo,” Jimin said meekly.
Instructor Chanwoo turned quickly, “How do you know my name?” “I just assumed that was your name since the studio is called Chanwoo’s Dance Studio,” said Jimin.
Instructor Chanwoo turned red, “Oh yeah, I forgot. So what is your question, do you want to apply?” “I am interested, I just wanted to know when the classes are,” stated Jimin.
“Well, we have classes Monday, Wednesday and Friday. All from 5pm to 7pm,” Chanwoo told Jimin. “Okay, thank you!” Jimin said quickly as he bowed and ran out the studio.
“Don’t you want an application?” shouted Chanwoo.
As Jimin ran home all he could think about was Hoseok. He was a little sad that he had to wait a whole day to see him again, but it was worth it.
As long as he knew for sure he could see Hoseok dance again, he was happy.
