“Ow,” Hoseok grunted. Hoseok was peacefully sleeping until something hit his face. He looked around to figure out what it could have been. There was no evidence to indicate what hit him.
Hoseok flipped over to welcome the arms of sleep once again. Then he saw it, lying peacefully next to him was Jimin.
Jimin must’ve turned over and accidentally hit Hoseok. Gently, Hoseok pushed Jimin’s hair back to get a better look at his face. He resembled a masterpiece.
Hoseok’s heart began fluttering like a butterfly learning to fly. “Jimin,” Hoseok whispered fondly. Making sure not to hurt him, Hoseok pulled Jimin into his arms and hugged him.
“Jimin,” Hoseok repeated. Jimin groaned as he buried himself into Hoseok’s chest. Hoseok began to kiss Jimin’s head. “Wake up,” Hoseok giggled. “What time is it?” Jimin muttered.
“I don’t know,” Hoseok smiled as he buried his face into Jimin’s hair. “Too early,” Jimin mumbled. As Hoseok drifted off into sleep, Jimin tenderly wrapped his arms around Hoseok.
“Good night,” Jimin whispered as he kissed Hoseok’s chest.
“Yoongi, are you listening to me?” Namjoon asked. Yoongi was desperately trying to stay awake. “Mhm,” Yoongi muttered. His eyelids felt heavy as he opened them to look at Namjoon.
Namjoon began to chuckle. “What’s so funny?” Yoongi yawned. “I can’t believe you’re this tired. Eight o’clock isn’t even that early,” Namjoon smiled.
“Who goes out to eat breakfast at eight o’clock?” Yoongi retorted. “Look around, Yoongi. A lot of people are here,” Namjoon smirked.
Namjoon had texted Yoongi the previous day asking if the pair could go out to eat. Yoongi accepted his offer thinking Namjoon meant dinner.
Not until Namjoon knocked on his door at seven thirty in the morning did he realize he actually meant breakfast.
“I have your order, two iced americanos and two breakfast specials, ” the waiter announced as he placed their items down. Immediately, Yoongi grabbed his iced americano and began to drink it.
“Thank you,” Namjoon smiled. The waiter smiled back and returned to the kitchen.
“Yoongi,” Namjoon called out. Yoongi looked up at Namjoon and saw his fork moving towards him. “Try this,” Namjoon smiled. “We both have the same order,” Yoongi pointed out.
“Oh,” Namjoon frowned as he began to return his fork. Yoongi’s heart stopped. “Ah, fine,” Yoongi muttered as he opened his mouth. Namjoon’s face brightened up as he fed Yoongi.
“Is it good?” Namjoon asked. Yoongi nodded as he swallowed the food. “It’s been a while,” Yoongi muttered. “Did you miss me?” Namjoon asked. Yoongi began to blush.
“No,” Yoongi quickly replied as he struggled to maintain eye contact with Namjoon.
“Look at me,” Namjoon insisted. Yoongi looked at Namjoon and saw how endearing his expression was.
“I’m sorry that we haven’t been going out as much lately. I’ve missed you so much,” Namjoon said wholeheartedly.
“It’s okay, Namjoon. I know exactly what I signed up for. We have to make compromises and be patient. I’m willing to wait,” Yoongi stated nonchalantly as he stirred his drink.
Namjoon didn’t respond. Yoongi was afraid to look up. “Was that too much?” Yoongi nervously thought to himself. Finally, he mustered up his courage and looked up.
Namjoon melted Yoongi’s cool demeanor with his captivating smile. The corner of his eyes crinkled and he revealed his dimples. His smile was so contagious that even Yoongi began to smile.
“Yoongi, I-” Namjoon began. “Eat your food,” Yoongi said as he tried to contain himself. Yoongi already knew what Namjoon wanted to say.
As much as he wanted to hear those words, he had to stop Namjoon before the words left his mouth. He wanted to be the first one to say it.
“Jimin, you have to get up now!” Hoseok whined. It was eleven o’clock in the morning and Jimin still wasn’t awake. Hoseok fully woke up at nine o’clock and had been waiting for Jimin since.
He took a shower, got dressed, did his hair, and even cleaned his house. Even after all that, Jimin was still peacefully sleeping.
Hoseok pulled the covers off Jimin and yelled, “Jimin!” Jimin groaned as he curled up into a ball. Gently, Hoseok laid on top of Jimin and began to cuddle him.
“Time to get up,” he whispered in Jimin’s ear. Suddenly, Jimin shot up and Hoseok fell off Jimin. “What time is it?” Jimin muttered as he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes.
“Good morning, love,” Hoseok sang. Jimin turned around to face Hoseok and saw him lying on the bed like Cleopatra. He pounced on Hoseok and pulled him under the covers.
“Jimin! No! It’s too early!” Hoseok shouted as he struggled to get out. Once Hoseok stopped struggling he saw Jimin clinging tightly to his waist as he tried to drift off into slumber again.
“Don’t go back to sleep,” Hoseok pleaded.
Jimin looked up at Hoseok and revealed his angelic face. “I wanted to go out to eat lunch with you,” Hoseok pouted as he squished Jimin’s face.
Jimin’s face lit up as he broke out into a smile. “A date?” Jimin asked enthusiastically. “Yes, a date,” Hoseok smiled.
Seeing Jimin so happy made Hoseok happy as well. It was contagious. “Come on get dressed,” Hoseok laughed as he carried Jimin.
“Put me down then,” Jimin giggled as he struggled to escape Hoseok’s grasp. “You can borrow my clothes,” Hoseok offered as he gently placed Jimin down.
“Thank you,” Jimin smiled as he kissed Hoseok’s cheek and ran towards Hoseok’s closet.
Hoseok sat on his bed and watched Jimin rummage through his closet. It was quite entertaining and cute. Watching Jimin try to piece outfits together made Hoseok giggle.
He really liked Jimin, maybe even something more. His pure and innocent presence was something Hoseok craved.
Since the first day he met Jimin, Hoseok knew that he wanted to be with Jimin for a long time, maybe even forever.
“I’m going to change, don’t look,” Jimin announced. Hoseok pouted, “But I’ve already se-” “Hoseok!” Jimin screamed. “Fine,” Hoseok frowned as he covered his eyes.
Jimin quickly began to undress. “Are you done?” Hoseok asked. “No,” Jimin muttered as he pulled his pants up. “What?” Hoseok questioned. “No!” Jimin yelled as he threw his shirt on.
“Too bad,” Hoseok smiled as he opened his eyes.
The first thing he saw was Jimin, fully dressed. “Aw, you’re no fun,” Hoseok pouted. “You’re not funny,” Jimin said as he glared at Hoseok.
“I wasn’t trying to be,” Hoseok replied as he glared back. They stood in silence, glaring at one another. No one dare moved.
“Ah,” Jimin yelled as he blinked his eyes. “I won!” Hoseok yelled as he jumped around the room. “Whatever, let’s go,” Jimin muttered as he grabbed Hoseok’s hand and headed for the door.
They exited the house hand in hand.
“So, where are we going?” Jimin asked. “There’s this really good place near your house that I want to take you to,” Hoseok revealed.
“That's perfect! We can stop by my house after so I can get my clothes for practice today,” Jimin smiled. “I forgot we had class today,” Hoseok laughed.
“Wow, that's a first! You’re always reminding me!” Jimin yelled in astonishment.
The pair walked towards the bus stop, laughing the whole way. When they were together, the world seemed to freeze and it felt as if it were just them two in the world.
Jimin and Hoseok meeting was a serendipitous event. It changed their lives for the better.
If you would have asked Jimin then if he thought he would date the dancing angel he saw through the studio’s window, he would have said no.
That scenario would have seemed like a hopeless whim to past Jimin, but alas, here they were now.
Finally, the pair reached the bus stop. They sat down and Jimin looked off into the distance to see if the bus was coming.
“Don’t worry it’ll be here soon,” Hoseok smiled. “You must be a wizard,” Jimin theorized. “You have such an active imagination,” Hoseok giggled.
The bus pulled up and the pair got up. “I hope you’re ready for this date,” Hoseok announced as he grabbed Jimin’s hand. “You’re quite the charmer,” Jimin smirked.
As soon as the doors opened, Hoseok led the way into the bus. However, two other passengers came out. Hoseok and the first passenger collided.
“Oh, I’m so sorry,” Namjoon gasped as he grabbed Hoseok’s shoulder.
“Who was in the way?” Yoongi asked. Namjoon moved to the side, revealing Hoseok. “Hoseok?” Yoongi asked. “Yoongi? You never take the bus. Where did you go?” Hoseok questioned.
“We went out to have breakfast,” Namjoon bragged as he put his arm around Yoongi. Yoongi began to blush furiously.
“Oh,” Hoseok mumbled, “Wait, are you Yoongi’s bo-”
“Hoseok, the bus driver is waiting!” Jimin interrupted as he pulled Hoseok onto the bus.
