Hoseok set up the music as Jimin stretched. Jimin was determined to impress Hoseok. Also, he was determined to ask Hoseok for help on how to improve his technique.
He had to do everything to insure that first place was secured for the pair. After Hoseok finished stretching, he grabbed Jimin’s shoulders and smiled.
“Don’t strain yourself. We can stop at anytime to take a break, just tell me,” Hoseok stated as he rubbed Jimin’s shoulders. Jimin nodded as he returned Hoseok’s smile.
He counted down from three to one then pressed play. The music echoed through the speakers as the pair glided through the air. They were synchronized as their bodies gracefully flew.
Hoseok whispered to himself, “One, two, three,” as he performed the choreography. He made sure each movement was time perfectly. His hips thrusted as he moved to his next position.
His mind was always one step ahead. The execution was flawless as the music played on. His footsteps echoed throughout the room as his body swayed.
Jimin’s legs traced the floor as his arms tore through the air. His movements were fluid and captivating.
One after the other, each step looked as if it was one continuous flow when performed by Jimin. As he picked himself back up, his hands traced the outline of his body.
All of his worries and pain faded away as his body melted into the air. Jimin spun elegantly, his body in tune with the music.
The couple’s intricate and graceful movements helped bring the lyrics to life.
“I had believed that our love would last forever”
The couple performed their choreography many times. They were drenched with sweat and their legs ached. However, Jimin didn’t want to stop.
Hoseok knew how much he could handle and stopped to take a rest. He walked to the kitchen to grab waters as Jimin continued to practice.
Once Hoseok grabbed the waters, he walked back to the room Jimin was in. He watched Jimin in awe.
He waited till the music ended to approach Jimin. “You’re doing amazing, Jimin!” Hoseok sang.
Jimin’s face enveloped into a smile as he wiped the sweat off his forehead with the towel wrapped around his neck.
“Are you being honest?” Jimin asked as he grabbed the water from Hoseok’s hand. “I promise,” Hoseok smiled. Jimin quickly drank the water as he sat down on the ground. Hoseok joined him.
“Are you sure I’m doing good?” Jimin asked as he faced the ground. Hoseok looked at Jimin and saw the somber expression he was wearing.
“Jimin, you’re doing amazing. You bring the song to life with your emotion filled performance,” Hoseok assured him. Jimin pouted his lips together as he played with his sleeves.
Hoseok gently moved Jimin’s face towards him. He pushed his lips together, revealing his dimples. “Are you okay?” Hoseok questioned.
“Am I okay?” Jimin asked himself. Right now he was happy, because he was with Hoseok. However, when he was alone his negative thoughts devoured him.
He was constantly reminded of how utterly worthless he was. The walls caved in on him and he felt as if he was suffocating.
Jimin wanted to trust Hoseok, he wanted to tell him everything that was going on. Hoseok was the only person who could make him feel better.
“Are you really going to trouble Hoseok with your problems?”
“Yeah, I’m fine! I just want to be prepared for the competition!” Jimin reassured him as he brightened up the room with his smile.
Hoseok placed his hand on Jimin’s shoulder as he gave a lopsided smile. “If you need anything just ask me,” Hoseok stated. “I will,” Jimin replied as he began to get up.
“Should we call it a day?” Hoseok asked as he laid down flat on the ground. It was quite clear that Hoseok was drained.
“Yeah, let’s go,” Jimin smiled as he stuck his hand out towards Hoseok. Hoseok grabbed onto Jimin’s hand and waited for him to pull him up. “Get up!” Jimin giggled as he shook his hand.
“Aren’t you going to pull me?” Hoseok pouted. “I’m just here to support your weight,” Jimin revealed. “You’re foul,” Hoseok whined as his body flailed on the ground.
Once Hoseok was up again, the couple exited their practice room and entered the hallway. “Yoongi?” Hoseok shouted as his jaw dropped.
Yoongi was standing near the entrance of Namjoon’s office with two iced coffees in his hand as Namjoon kissed his cheek.
As soon as Yoongi heard Hoseok, he nervously pushed Namjoon away with his arm. His cheeks began to turn as red as a rose. Namjoon’s cheeks also began to flush with color.
“Are you guys finished practicing?” Namjoon asked as he rubbed his hands together. “Yes, we were just leaving,” Jimin replied as he grabbed Hoseok’s hand.
Jimin could feel the obvious tension in the room as he pulled Hoseok towards the front door. The last thing he wanted to do was make Yoongi and Namjoon uncomfortable.
If they needed more privacy then Jimin would give it to them.
“Wait,” Yoongi called out as he stared at the couple. Jimin and Hoseok suddenly stopped and faced Yoongi. Yoongi faced the ground and muttered, “This is my boyfriend, Namjoon."
Yoongi faced the ground and muttered, “This is my boyfriend, Namjoon." Namjoon smiled at Yoongi, revealing his dimples. Hoseok could see that Yoongi was as red as a beet. “I’m glad you’re with him,” Hoseok smiled.
Yoongi looked up and scrunched his eyebrows together. He thought Hoseok would be mad at him for not telling him sooner. This reminded Yoongi of how caring and understanding Hoseok was.
“Be safe,” Namjoon smiled as he stood closer to Yoongi. Jimin and Hoseok exited Mono Studio hand in hand and began to make their way towards the bus stop.
