After the pair put on thick snow jackets and pants, they began to build their forts. They moved the furniture to create hide outs to protect themselves from one another.
Once this process was done, the couple stood in the middle of the room, face to face. “May the best man win,” Taehyung smiled as he stuck his hand out.
“I know I will,” Jungkook growled as he shook Taehyung’s hand.
As soon as they let go, they ran towards their forts. They made sure their entire body was concealed by the furniture. Taehyung looked up to see where Jungkook went.
He saw that no one was behind the fort Jungkook made. This meant that Jungkook was somewhere else in the house. Quickly, Taehyung grabbed every pillow he had and began to exit his fort.
As soon as he stepped out, a pillow flew towards his face.
In a desperate attempt to escape this pillow, Taehyung threw himself in the opposite direction, abandoning his pillows. More pillows came flying towards him, he couldn’t escape.
Sweat dripped down is face as he crawled towards the hallway. The hallway momentarily protected him from Jungkook. He stood back up and began to make his way towards his bedroom.
His bedroom had more pillows to be thrown. He wouldn’t let this setback hold him down.
Taehyung was bred for one thing...
to destroy Jungkook.
Jungkook collected the bundle of pillows Taehyung abandoned. He knew Taehyung was nearby, he could hear him giggling. He ran towards the kitchen in hopes of finding Taehyung, but to no avail.
In order to make his mother proud...
he had to destroy Taehyung.
Jungkook heard a creak outside the kitchen and immediately dropped.
He hid behind the counter and waited for the steps to continue.
However, the steps didn’t continue. Jungkook was stuck there. He had to escape the kitchen unscathed. Quietly, Jungkook began to crawl towards the dining room.
The exit was so close, yet so far. Before Jungkook could exit, two pillows came flying towards him.
Doing what any rational person would do, Jungkook tucked and rolled his way out of the kitchen. He quickly bounced back up and ran towards the bedroom.
His nerves were on edge. At any moment Taehyung could pop out. Taehyung had the upper hand, because this was his house. He knew every nook and cranny here.
Jungkook saw that the pillows on Taehyung’s bed were missing. That meant Taehyung had already cleared this area. Jungkook had to think of something fast.
Taehyung tiptoed through the rest of the house searching for Jungkook. He was nowhere to be found.
All of a sudden, Taehyung heard a thump in the living room. He ran as fast as he could to catch Jungkook.
“Got you!” Taehyung yelled as he entered the living room. There he was, crouching in the middle of the living room.
Taehyung forcefully threw each pillow he had at Jungkook. Jungkook’s body slumped over from the blows from the pillows. Jungkook laid on the ground, not making a sound.
Suddenly, Taehyung began to feel bad. “Did I hurt him?” Taehyung thought to himself. He slowly walked towards Jungkook and asked, “Are you okay?” There was no response.
Taehyung kneeled next to Jungkook’s lifeless body. He slowly turned over Jungkook’s head to look at his face.
Taehyung gasped. There was a pillow where Jungkook’s face should have been.
“Tough luck!” Jungkook yelled as he ran towards Taehyung.
Jungkook had filled the snow pants and jacket with pillows in order to make it look like him. The real Jungkook was hiding behind Taehyung’s fort the whole time.
Jungkook was ready to destroy Taehyung. He ran as fast as the speed of light towards Taehyung. However, Jungkook didn’t notice the wire for a lamp in front of him.
He tripped on it and began to fall. This wasn’t just any graceful fall, Jungkook’s weight was pulling him down towards the hard tile. His body was falling hard and quickly.
He awaited the pain that was bound to consume him.
“Jungkook!” Taehyung yelled as he jumped into action. He threw himself in front of Jungkook so he could fall on him. He awaited Jungkook’s body to gently land on him.
However, Jungkook didn’t land gently. His body forcefully fell on Taehyung’s chest and pushed Taehyung down with him. Taehyung hit his head on the floor from this impact.
Gravity pulled the couple down together.
“Taehyung, are you okay?” Jungkook yelled as he pulled Taehyung’s body towards his chest.
Taehyung was being devoured by the pain.
His eyes struggled to stay open and all he could see was a blurry outline of Jungkook. His head was throbbing and his arm was pulsating with pain. “Hyung, stay with me!” Jungkook cried.
“Tell Yeontan I love him,” Taehyung coughed as he grasped Jungkook’s shirt. Jungkook could feel Taehyung’s grip loosening until he eventually let go. “Hyung?” Jungkook called out.
There was no response. “Hyung!” Jungkook shouted. A single tear escaped Jungkook’s eye as he cradled Taehyung’s body.
“No one will ever forget what happened here today. Two men consumed with boredom and a thirst for blood. Each were bred to kill one another. Neither could leave until their duty was fulfilled. In the end, only one could come out victorious, and that man was Jeon Jungkook,” Jungkook whimpered as he hugged Taehyung.
“That was beautiful,” Taehyung whispered. “Thank you, thank you,” Jungkook smiled.
Jungkook helped Taehyung up and carried him to the bedroom. “Are you okay?” Jungkook asked.
“My head is killing me and so is my arm. My elbow hit the floor pretty hard,” Taehyung winced as Jungkook placed him on the bed. “Nothing a handy dandy ice pack can’t fix,” Jungkook winked as he walked towards the kitchen.
He returned with a frozen bag of peas and a frozen bag of corn. Carefully, he placed them under Taehyung’s arm and head. “Thank you,” Taehyung giggled.
Jungkook kissed Taehyung and snuggled up next to him. “You’re going to have a lot to clean up tomorrow,” Jungkook smiled as he hugged Taehyung.
