Hoseok awoke the next day to the sound of his phone vibrating. “Ugh,” Hoseok moaned as he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. “What time is it?” Hoseok mumbled as he grabbed his phone.
The first thing he saw was the messages from Sunhwa.
S: ok S: meet me @ the boba place @ 2pm
Hoseok felt as if he was going to do something good for Jimin. Jimin should not have to go through Sunhwa’s wrath, he didn’t do anything wrong.
Now all Hoseok had to figure out was what exactly he was going to say. “I’ll just ask Yoongi,” Hoseok thought as he dragged himself out of bed.
He walked to the bathroom and turned the shower on.
After Hoseok finished his morning routine, he texted Yoongi to come over. He sat on his couch and began to think about Jimin. His beautiful smile. His beautiful plump lips.
Jimin was just beautiful in general. Not only did Jimin have looks, but he had an amazing personality too.
Jimin was shy and adorable, but he also had a dominating side that only Hoseok knew about. Just being around Jimin lifted Hoseok’s mood because Jimin was always so happy.
When Hoseok saw Jimin cry it broke his heart. Someone that happy shouldn’t have to be in pain.
“Open up,” Yoongi yelled as he knocked on the door. Hoseok quickly ran to the door and opened it. The pair went to the living room and sat down. “So, what did she say?” Yoongi asked.
“She told me to meet her at the boba place at two o’clock,” Hoseok said as he handed Yoongi his phone. “The one down the street?” Yoongi asked. “I guess,” Hoseok said as he shrugged.
“Do you know what you’re going to say?” Yoongi asked. Hoseok lowered his gaze and shook his head. Yoongi knew that Hoseok was nervous, however, he didn’t know what advice to give Hoseok.
“I have to let her know that there is no future between us. I’ll tell her that I love Jimin and if she truly cares about me she’ll stop. I don’t care if she makes up rumors about me, as long as she stops bullying Jimin. He didn’t do anything to her,” Hoseok mumbled.
“What makes you think she cares about you?” Yoongi asked. “Well, if she says she has a crush on me that must mean that cares about me to some extent. She wouldn’t want me to hate her, that's probably why she made up those rumors about Jimin and not me,” Hoseok replied.
Yoongi placed his hand on Hoseok’s knee and said, “Well, it’s barely eleven o’clock, so what’re we going to do in the meantime?”
Hoseok looked up at Yoongi and smiled. “Oh no, what’re you thinking?” Yoongi groaned. “Well,” Hoseok squeaked. “Out with it,” Yoongi yelled as he pretended to strangle Hoseok.
“Can we go see Jimin?” Hoseok smiled as he grabbed Yoongi’s face. “You’re going to ditch me again,” Yoongi sighed. “No, of course not. Jimin is nice, he wouldn’t mind if you joined us,” Hoseok smiled.
Jimin sat on the edge of his bed with his head in his hands. Yesterday really took a toll on him.
He knew that Sunhwa was mad, but didn’t think she’d go as far as the spread rumors about him. The rumors enveloped Jimin’s thoughts, he wanted to know exactly what she said about Jimin.
Last night, he dreamed that the students pushed Jimin into a corner and just laughed at him. That's all they did, laugh.
Jimin cowered in the corner and began to cry for Hoseok, but Hoseok just stood there staring at Jimin. “Hoseok, please,” Jimin cried. He looked at Jimin and walked away.
That was one of the worst nightmares Jimin ever had.
Jimin’s phone vibrated and broke him from his despondent state. He grabbed his phone and looked at the notification.
H: coming over :)
Jimin broke out into a smile. Hoseok, his Hoseok, always made him so happy. His Hoseok wasn’t the Hoseok in his dream. He would never leave Jimin alone.
Jimin pushed his hair back with his hand and got up to get dressed.
It was eleven thirty by the time Jimin finished dressing. Jimin sat in his living room, awaiting Hoseok’s arrival. He was glad that Hoseok was coming over.
Hoseok always brightened Jimin’s day. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Jimin quickly got up and opened the door.
“Hoseok!” Jimin squealed as he pounced on Hoseok. He wrapped his legs around Hoseok’s wasit as he kissed his face. “Jimin,” Hoseok smiled as he hugged Jimin.
Jimin began to kiss Hoseok neck, then he looked straight ahead and saw Yoongi. Jimin stopped mid-kiss and stared at Yoongi. He began to blush and quickly jumped off Hoseok.
“Sorry,” Jimin quickly yelled as he bowed. Simultaneously, Hoseok and Yoongi began to laugh. Jimin shot back up and hid his face behind his hands.
“You don’t have to say sorry,” Hoseok laughed as he pulled Jimin’s hands down. “It’s okay, I don’t mind,” Yoongi smiled. Even though he said that, Jimin was still burning with embarrassment.
“Is it okay if Yoongi hangs out with us?” Hoseok pleaded. Jimin nodded and invited them both inside his home.
“Don’t mind me, proceed,” Yoongi said as he sat on the couch and began to play Piano Tiles on his phone. Jimin turned red again and Hoseok laughed.
Hoseok wrapped his arms around Jimin’s waist and kissed his forehead. “I missed you,” he whispered. “I missed you too,” Jimin smiled.
“Shall we?” Hoseok said as he pointed towards Jimin’s room. “Okay,” Jimin giggled. “Be safe,” Yoongi called out.
The pair laid down on Jimin’s bed. “I have to ask you something,” Hoseok said as he stared intently at Jimin. Jimin began to get nervous and nodded for Hoseok to continue.
“Are you okay?” Hoseok asked. Jimin began to remember everything that occured yesterday and shivered.
“Of course I’m hurt by Sunhwa’s actions, but there is nothing I can do. Also, sorry for pushing you away yesterday,” Jimin whispered. “It’s okay, Jimin. Just know that this is going to end soon,” Hoseok said as he pulled Jimin into a hug.
This relieved Jimin. Hoseok words were just another reminder that Hoseok wasn’t the same person in his dream. No matter what happens, Hoseok will always be there for Jimin.
“Thank you, Hoseok,” Jimin smiled as he hugged him back.
“You’re the most important person to me and I don’t want you to ever be sad. You should always be smiling and happy. Let me see that beautiful smiled,” Hoseok said endearingly as he cupped Jimin’s face.
Jimin couldn’t help but smile. Hoseok really was an angel.
The trio watched every netflix movie they could and even played Piano Tiles together. Yoongi began to understand exactly why Hoseok was so sprung on Jimin.
Jimin won Yoongi’s approval without even realizing it. Time was surreal when you are with Jimin. Always smiling and laughing, there was never a dull moment.
How was Jimin so angelic? It didn’t matter, all Yoongi knew was that Hoseok and Jimin were perfect for eachother.
Hoseok checked his phone and saw that it was one thirty. He had to leave soon if he wanted to make it on time to the boba place. “I have to go now,” Hoseok pouted. “Already?” Jimin frowned.
Jimin didn’t want to be alone again. His thoughts would eventually consume him.
“I’m sorry, love,” Hoseok muttered as he stood up. The trio walked towards the front door together.
“I’ll see you tomorrow and I’ll facetime you once I get home,” Hoseok smiled. “Be safe,” Jimin said as he hugged Hoseok. Hoseok hugged him back and kissed Jimin’s cheek.
Jimin faced Yoongi and bowed, “Goodbye.” Yoongi tipped his cap and returned Jimin’s departing words. Jimin watched Hoseok and Yoongi until they were out of sight.
The pair reached the bus stop and sat down. “Are you ready?” Yoongi asked as he stuck his fist out. “Ready is my middle name, bro,” Hoseok said as he pressed his head on Yoongi’s fist.
Yoongi quickly lowered his fist and yelled, “Come on, man! You were supposed to fist me.” This immediately made the pair break out into laughter.
