A poem about the night.

Nighttime Loneliness

by tipsyargent

Sitting on the veranda,

Watching the stars as they

Glistened in the darkness above me.

Gargantuan balls of fire and gas

Illuminating the night sky.

Their friend, the moon, came out from behind the clouds,

Assisting the stars and helping them

Light up my strange world of

nighttime loneliness...
