Long walks on the winding path Of rebellion and adolescence

Needles, Ducks, and Vodka

Long walks on the winding path

Of rebellion and adolescence

Rocks thrown at innocent bystanders

A game made just for sport

Sat down by the closest shelter

Shooing off the angry victims

A girl as broken as the abandoned windows

One made into two

two closer than ever

A backpack dumped carelessly

A Needle tumbles into the river

The girl shouts then sighs

Pulls out another

Dipped in ink

And stabbed into innocent, untouched skin

A bottle of poison

They pour down their throats

It burns but brings satisfaction

And they quickly become dizzy

Gum to chew once it all winds down

Slightly stumbling home

They quietly shut their doors

Seems to have been

A successful escape

(A poem about being young and experiencing the fun, wild things in life.)
