The story of a corpse

Sleeping Murder

A corpse has no words,

But thought.

No agony, but memories.

No place, but a box,

In a pretty garden.

But this corpse, is different.

This corpse,

Has a story to tell.

This corpse lives amidst the snow,

Among the forgotten trees-

Looking through his dead eyes,

Listening with his dead ears,

And

Speaking silence with his dead voice,

This corpse,

Has a story to tell.

The cat sighs with disbelief,

The crow mourns madly,

The trees stop rustling,

For, the corpse-

Is telling his story.

The corpse, with his mangled face

And wounds gaping on his body,

Looks, through the snow-

Through the trees, past the mist,

He looks at he sky, the Sun,

And tells his story.

But alas! The corpse has no voice, but thought-

No agony, all wrath.
