Containment Breach Chapter Seven: A Friend Returns

Tom couldn't control himself. He was paralyzed. His mind was completely taken over and he could not think for himself. "I- I have to finish it...

" Tom continued to mutter to himself, "I have to finish the piece. "Tom was now at the foot of the pedestal. He looked blankly into the metallic wall. Tom slowly placed his hand onto his wrist.

His nails dug deeper into his wrist. It started bleeding. Tom screeched in pain but kept digging his nails deeper and deeper. A waterfall of warm red blood poured out of his wrist.

Tom still stared blankly into the wall until his gaze was interrupted. Someone put their hands on his mouth and dragged him out of the room. Tom snapped back into reality.

The mysterious man muffled Tom's screams. Tom tried to yell, "Mmmmm! Mmmmm!" He was still being dragged through the hallways. Tom's eyes grew heavier. He felt like he couldn't breathe.

Tom had then passed out. "Huh?! What's happening?" Tom quickly got up. His eyes were squinted while they adjusted to the light around him.

His head turned left to right wondering what was happening. Tom looked at his wrist. They were stitched up. The pain still lingered around in hid wrist.

Tom was just about to get up but then he froze. Tom heard light footsteps heading his way. The footsteps grew closer. Tom could see the silhouette of a man. Tom got up slowly.

"Hey! Who are you?" Tom asked. There was no reply. The man came closer. Tom then saw his face. Tom gasped, "9341! It's you!" 9341 nodded. "I thought you were gone," Tom said. Tom sat back down.

"Why did you drag me out of there and put your hand over my mouth?" He asked. 9341 didn't answer. 9341 then started to leave. He waved for Tom to follow him. Tom got up and trailed behind.

His wrist still hurt. Every second it was stinging. It was as if a knife was slowly cutting into his wrist. Tom kept walking ignoring the pain. Once again Tom was walking through the facility.

He wondered if he will ever get out. But at least this time Tom was not alone.
