Finding Yourself

by thewriter

Here's to...

Those crazy people who dare to dream big and fight for what they want, no matter how many people put them down. Crazy people have changed our world, and are rare and special. You are special.

Here's to...

Those shy people who hide their precious jewels behind a sweet smile and nervous jitters. The right people will find you. Don't fret, just open up a little. You're not an outcast.

Here's to...

The midnight writers, who spend their nights awake striving to write a better story and life. One day all your efforts will pay off, no matter how much people discredit it. You're unique.

Here's to...

The broken, who think only they can deal with what they're dealing with. There will be someone who will help you heal. God is always open for you. Don't push Him away. You're important for Him

Here's to...

The lone hearts, who think they'll never find their soulmate. They're out there somewhere, don't lose hope in finding them. They will come in the right timing. Just continue being amazing you.

Here's to...

The weary, who have toiled their whole lives to help others. Be brave and courageous. You'll find rest in God.

Here's to...

You, wherever your steps are and in whatever style of life. You're amazing, unique, beautiful, awesome, and special. Even when no one shows that you are all these qualities....

Remember...

God made you all of these things. You may not see it, but it's true. Look deep, and find yourself. You'll love what you find.

I will comment on the writing. It was stellar. The repeating theme with each stanza defining another person to cheer for was used flawlessly as were the individual descriptions of those whose souls you were soothing. Now, for the message. I think that many of the authors of some seriously sad poetry need soothing with a belief in religion. It is better by far to seek relief in God than in the razor blade. Great job!!!!!
