This is about a person who taught me how to leave my comfort zone and be myself

The ocean

by theartsybean

You washed over me like a particularly strong wave

You knocked me down, I nearly drowned, but I felt ok

Because you were the one to cleanse me of my worries

You were the one to wash away the insecurities

You were the one to take me to the middle of the ocean

And taught me how to sail with no distinct current

You were the wave that set me me free from this island.
