This is about me and someone who drifted apart. (inspired by a Tumblr post lol)

Stranger

by theartsybean

All the love we had is still lingering

All of our memories still haunt me

The tension between us is so damn suffocating.

I bet I no longer hold a place in your heart

You and I are becoming strangers.

We would talk for hours and now I can't even catch your gaze

i haven't seen you in so long, I'm forgetting your face.

Why'd you cut me from your life so easily?

Why'd you let yourself become a stranger to me?

This is a really resonant theme in your generation. But one only need to listen to the most popular songs from past generations to see this theme reverberate through history. You wrote it beautifully. The emotional nuances of your verses were evocative of images of a tearful person decrying their loss. Great poem!!!!!
