wrote for you. I wish I could change the things that you’ve done. The friendship you shattered a world so unspun. Promises broken and words so untrue, You lied through your teeth when you said I love you. You asked for a child and begged me to try. That womb oh so “barren”, oh how loud you would cry.
You wanted to walk before our baby was planned, Still you begged and you Pleaded and made your demand. So with love in my heart I made plans just for you. Your feelings you hid and your heart was askew. Our daughter was born, my life was complete. You didn’t seem right, your step was off beat.
You’d sit and you’d stare into your phone all night long, I'd cry and I'd plead that it felt oh so wrong. I wanted to buy our house just for you. I wanted to share our memories, just us two. Still you walked without trying and broke up this home, You shattered our world and left me alone.
Our daughter’s world gone, blown right away, Not even a thought, when you walked on that day. How will you tell this to our little baby girl? You’ll probably just shrug and give it a whirl. So on I will write about how you broke me in two, About how you lied through your teeth when you said that I do.
You wont find someone who treats you that right, You wont find someone who holds you that tight. I was the best thing that will ever happen to you, Now all you have left are these poems just for you.
