story about being claustrophobic

by tdog16

My lungs expanded begging for air.

The darkness swallowing my tiny figure.

I couldn't breath.

The tiny space suffocating me.

My heart pumped, racing a thousand miles an hour.

I wheezed rapid breaths of contaminated air.

The putrid smell of rotten potatoes and moody cheese,

Overpowered my senses.

My headache worsened by the minute.

My lungs felt as if they were about to explode.

My weak arms banged on the warm locked door above me.

I sank further into the gooey mess.

My eyes grew heavy.

My body grew numb in defeat.

All I could think was, why?

Why did they do this to me?

I hekd onto that thought, letting darkness swallow me whole.
