Make sure you are safe on your phone! I don't know what this is even about it's just confusing.

by tdog16

I never thought the dinging was something so strange.

I never thought the scams were signs.

I never thought the light, flickering with life,

would be dangerous. I never thought the camera was smiling back at me.

I never thought the buttons were poison,

Or the letters lava. I never thought the notifications were extremely deadly.

I never thought the texts were something that I should fret.

I never thought about what I did or said.

I never thought about my safety, until it was too late.

I never thought I would be in this situation, but that's because I didn't think.

I never thought I'd be laying in bed, alone and scared.

I never thought my phone was evil, unprotected and broken.

I never thought that the screen that blinds me now,

Was a weapon.

I never thought I'd be eyes wide and mouth agape.

I should have thought, instead I had to be told.

I never thought my screen would hold the words,

"I will find you."

I broke my phone a few months ago, I'm not even missing it. It's extremely weird how so many people are addicted to they're phone and don't even know how many apps can just enter it and find personal stuff, they don't even need for the app.

Great story and so very true. When my kids were growing up they had to answer the phone with the introduction "This line is not secure." We knew our landlines were mot secure. Our cell phones are even less secure. You covered this beautifully. Great work!!!!
