It was late in the morning, we were cuddled on the air mattress.
Our legs were intertwined.
You started to tickle me,
And I laughed too loud for 2am.
I begged you to stop,
I tried to stop your hands.
You took my hands and pinned them above my head,
You were on top of me.
We stopped laughing realizing the position we were in.
My heart sped like crazy.
You dipped your head down low,
Your hair brushed over my face.
You pulled your hair back.
Ours breaths mingled,
I could taste the peppermint in your breath.
We stared into eachothers eyes,
I lifted my head up, hesitating a little,
And then my dad barged in.
