3 little pigs ring a bell?

Fireproof

I started from the beginning.

I began to live again.

I met new people.

I explored new places.

I tried new foods.

I built my wood wall tall so I could live without you.

I felt free,

Alive,

Happy.

But then you wiggled your way back into my thoughts,

Your fire licking up my heart.

You burnt my growth to crisps.

I was so beautiful,

So bright,

So flourished,

Yet you decided to destroy me once more.

Was once not enough?

I grew once more from the ashes.

Started again.

I worked my way up.

I built my walls higher,

Stronger.

This time I made my walls stone,

Not straw,

Not wood,

But stone.

I had met someone new,

A boy.

He made me laugh,

Smile,

Confident.

He jumped over my wall and entered my heart,

But you didn't.

Your tactics were weak compared to what I grew into.

They no longer effected me.

For once I stood my ground.

For once I stayed happy.

For once I stayed living.

For once I was fireproof.
