The eyes are watching,
Following my movements.
They creepily take me in,
Like a women around a bunch of lustful men.
They stare at me,
Red gems glistening in the darkness,
Only eyes showing.
Pairs of droopy yellow slime balls
Without a body to go with.
I dare not show them my fear.
I dare not shut my eyes,
For they might take me into their game.
I dare not falter,
For if they see hesitation, it is a flaw.
I dare not fail,
For they will see.
So step by step I be the best I can be,
While society's eyes follow,
Hungry for me to fall,
So that I can be a pair of eyes,
Instead of a body with purpose, with hope.
