I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE (movies)
The first of these movies-about a woman who seeks revenge against those who brutally assaulted her-came out in the 70s & was remade years later. And then there's, of course, the sequels.
CHILDREN OF THE GRAVE by Black Sabbath (song)
This is one of the many hit songs by noted heavy metal group Black Sabbath that was, of course, fronted by Ozzy Osbourne who would, of course, go on to have a successful solo career.
ROBERT GRAVES (writer)
Robert Graves is one of the most legendary poets & writers of all-time with classic novels such as King Jesus, The Golden Fleece & I, Claudius & poetry collections like The Feather Bed.
PET SEMATARY by Stephen King (book & movie)
One of the most popular Stephen King books-about a pet "sematary" that brings back from the dead both pets & people (with, of course, horrifying results)-that was later made into a popular movie.
BORN DEAD by Body Count (album)
This was the second album by controversial heavy metal group Body Count fronted by controversial "gangsta" rapper Ice T. (And, no, this WASN'T the album with the "Cop Killer" song.)
ASH VS. EVIL DEAD (TV show based on the movies)
This cable TV show is based on the cult classic Evil Dead films. It continues to follow the exploits of "hero" Ash-played by Bruce Campbell-as he continues to fight the-that's right!-evil dead.
NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (movies)
Before there was The Walking Dead, there was Night Of The Living Dead. This flick is the granddaddy of all zombie flicks/shows. Directed by George A. Romero, it spawned sequels & a crappy remake.
I'm not entirely sure if Elvira should be included on a list about, uh-hum, things with or about graves, but, really, who the hell cares, am I right? Right!
