"Every Breath You Take" by The Police
This "classic" song is regarded as one of the best all-time "romance" songs. However, one look at the lyrics and one can see it's not about "romance" but rather about . . . well, you know!
Ladies, here's some advice: If a guy sneaks into your bedroom at night to watch you sleep, CALL THE DAMN COPS!!!! I don't care IF he's a "sparkly" vampire! Just a suggestion!
50 Shades Of Grey
Let's face facts, if 50 Shades Of Grey was about some homely poor dude who lived in a trailer park who tried to get a gal to have bizarre sex with him in his "red room of pain",
it would be an episode of, say, Criminal Minds and/or Law & Order: SVU!
I actually read an article online that the scene in this "classic" rom-com where the guy shows the object of his affection how he feels with those lame-ass signs of his at her front door WAS a form of . . . well, you know!
Stalker was a controversial TV show about LAPD detectives who investigated "stalking" crimes. It was canceled after one season.
The show was so controversial people were starting petitions to try to get it canceled, saying how it somehow "glamorized" stalkings.
Ironically, by the SAME people who gave things like Twilight & 50 Shades a free pass.
"Night Prowler" by AC/DC
"Night Prowler" is the last song on AC/DC's last album with singer Bon Scott "Highway To Hell" before he died unexpectedly.
And, unlike The Police song "Every Breath You Take" & other things I've mentioned on this list, it is undoubtedly ABOUT stalking.
Ah, the oldies!
