MY FANFICTION (So Far!)

by tbanarchy

My fanfic on Wattpad.

I've posted before about how I've begun writing fanfiction on Wattpad. I always have ideas for shows & movies & whatnot so I figured to give writing fanfiction a try. So here's a list of them.

THE AVENGERS: RETRIBUTION

I was a bit bugged after watching the Age Of Ultron film in that Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man was never held "responsible" for creating Ultron. So this is my reimagining of the events after Ultron.

BATMAN: Fall Of The Dark Knight

This began as a Batman vs. Superman-type fanfic but morphed into a story about Batman doing the ONE thing he swore he'd NEVER do. (I'm still thinking about writing the B VS. S fanfic, BTW.)

THE QUIETUS OF HARRY POTTER

Some diehard Harry Potter fans might be a bit "upset" with me over how I "change" the characters in this one, especially one character in particular (and, of course, you have to read it to see!),

STAR WARS: Showdown At Sarlacc

This is my "reimagining" of the scene in ROTJ when Luke & the others rescue Han from Jabba & then they have a final "showdown" at the Sarlacc Pit. In my story, Jabba is human & TSP is a bar.

STAR WARS: DARKER

This is a collection of Star Wars stories that are more of my "reimagining" of some of the most famous-and infamous-scenes in the SW films. (And THIS is why J.J. & Disney would NEVER hire me!)

LITTLE RED RIDING HOMICIDAL HOOD

My own twisted take on the classic fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood (and is a longer version of a story I published on Commaful).

Those are my fanfic stories I've written so far. Please feel free to take a look at them, vote on them and comment on them, even if it's to tell me they SUCK (although I'd prefer you didn't!).

I, of course, intend on writing MORE fanfiction . . .

And, when I do, I'll be sure to post it here so you might want to keep checking back if you like. If you don't like that's fine too. No pressure! Trust me, I won't hold it against you! Promise!

@tbanarchy I personally am an humble man. I will write drivel for dollars. Yes, "Shades of Gray" OMG. tens of millions of dollars. I would sell my soul for half of that.

@bernardtwindwil Thanks again for the kind words about my writing. I have run into one or two people who didn't know what "fanfiction" actually was. And, you're right, there is no "original" fanfiction as you're taking somebody's else characters and putting your on "spin" to them. Ironically, some famous works started off as fanfiction; like, for instance, 50 Shades Of Grey started off, if you can believe it, as Twilight fanfic (and that's ONE fanfic I don't EVER intend to write!). To be honest, I wouldn't mind if that happened to my own fanfic!

@tbanarchy I have no confusion in the two genres. I used the term "fantasy" because there is no such thing as original fan fiction. All your ideas and characters are generated from another person's creativity. I read the first chapter of your work, "The Quietus of Harry Potter" It is well written and you have tons of talent. Just write. That is all that matters.

@bernardtwindwil I think you're referring to general sci-fi and fantasy. Fanfiction, at least the current definition of it, are stories based on popular established characters, like Batman and Harry Potter, that are generally written by fans of these characters, hence the term fanfiction. To your point about me coming up with my own "fantasy" stories, I have toyed with that idea. In fact, I was thinking about posting a story like what you're talking about. But it tends to take A LOT of time to write these type of stories. It took me around two months alone to write my Batman fanfic. So that's one of the reasons why I don't write more of these stories myself.

I have read different types of fanfic most of my life. The ones that I liked in my youth were comic pages brought to life. Your writing here is all that concerns me. You write a great advertising copy. You are certainly to write an elegant book. Let me see a shot of something of a fantasy you have thought of yourself. You certainly have the, talent. Why should you care, that some people are trying to be orthodox about a fictional character, think?
