ENERGY: Attractions

by taiga

As time aged, so did our attraction Stone wrinkles took refuge between us The distance grew, And our flame went cold

Our energies pulled us together initially, repelling everything and everyone around us We invested all our time into each other As if the absence of one energy would extinguish the other

And as quickly as it happened, our energies didn’t recognise each other anymore Like strangers in a magnetic sense All we knew how to do now, was repel
