It's funny how one can abuse a person he or she once loved.

Once

by tabnash24

Once a fragrance

is now a smoke.

Once a petal

is now a thorn.

Once a blow

is now a scream.

Once a shallow

is now deep.

Once a gleam

is now a streak.

Once a warmth

is now heat.

Once a feather

is now deceit.

Once a touch

is now a mistreat.

@nightcanary Thank you! Just wanted to pick up few lines instead of a speech to draw attention to that issue because this needs attention and I'm glad that you could understand my point. 😇

I love how daring and meaningful each and every word is in this installment. I feel like every time I read this, it's like a stone being dropped from above, echoing as it smacks the pavement, leaving only a dent as its last word -- which is so powerful.
