1. Meditate every morning
Use an app like Calm or Headspace. Meditate in the morning and when you feel stressed.
2. Do the Push-up or Pull-up Challenge
Every time you get up, do some pushups! I do 5 pull ups every time I walk to my computer. Keeps me refreshed and gets my blood flowing.
It's healthy to laugh. Take some time every day and dedicate it to laughing. You can just force a laugh or you can watch something funny. It helps keep you positive and energized for the day!
4. Take a break sometimes.
You may need a weekend off. Or to spend a night with your friends. Don't think about the things that are bothering you. Focus completely on something else. Your friends will help you through it!
5. Write down the best thing that happened to you every day
Even on the worst day, find the best thing that happened to you today. Do it every day and when you feel sad, you can look back on ALL the happy times.
6. Plan out your day the night before
Stress often comes from uncertainty. Take away some of the uncertainty and focus on the execution but figuring out exactly what you need to do the night before.
7. Read fiction
Fiction is a GREAT way to take your mind off things. Especially before you go to sleep. If you don't have a book to read, I've been using Commaful, Wattpad, and Hooked.
8. Tell yourself that you can do it.
If we believe we can do it, we worry less about it and also execute better. So keep telling yourself that you can do it. Say it out loud. Write it down. Seriously. It works.
9. Say no.
Don't say yes to everything. Committing to too much stuff often leads to stress! Learn to say no and focus on the important things.
10. Thank You
Be thankful. Thank people a lot. We are hopefully all lucky in our own way. Be thankful for what you do have and use that to push you onward and relax you!
